Outrunners is Hegan’s 6th feature screenplay and his debut feature as director. Hegan has written/directed 11 short comedy films and been a writer for Rolling Stone, GQ, MSN, The National Post, 20 TV shows (CTV, TSN, CBC), and George Stroumboulopoulos’ CBC talk show. Hegan was selected as the Vancouver Public Library’s first-ever Screenwriter in Residence and will soon be Screenwriter in Residence for the Kamloops library system.

Major is a Vancouver-based producer / production designer. He has produced/co-produced four features: Daughter, Box of Freedom, Time Helmet, and This Island. 

 

As Production Designer for feature films and Hallmark TV shows, Major designs film sets, mood boards, and leads a team to make films look amazing. His four years of experience coming up from Set Dresser, to Set Decorator on IATSE shows and Hallmark, as well as Art Director for both film and TV have taught Major all aspects of the art department. Being able to be flexible, inventive, and budget aware has allowed him to work in many genres as well. From horror to Christmas, drama to comedy, sci-fi and all in between delivering sets beyond clients’ expectations and dreams.

Wendy Hyman

Wendy Hyman is an award-winning Producer, who has over 26 years’ experience in the entertainment industry. Wendy worked at CTV Western Independent Productions before founding her own production company in 1996. Wendy has sold to broadcasters and distributors around the world and has won awards internationally for her work. She produced the multiple-award-winning drama On the Corner which took home many prestigious awards including but not limited to: Special Prize of the Jury at the Mannheim-Heidelberg International Film Festival; Cinema Jove winner Golden Moon of Valencia; Best Western Canadian Film at The Vancouver International Film Festival, Canada’s Top 10 chosen by the Toronto Film Festival Group; Winner of the Bronze Pre-Columbian Circle at the Bogota Film Festival and The Signature Award for Best Drama at NextFest sponsored by Global Television.

 

Previously Wendy was the Treasurer of Women in Film and Television Vancouver and sat on the board of directors for three years. She is an member in good standing with the Directors Guild of Canada and is actively mentoring Canada’s next generation of content creators through Telus Storyhive and The National Screen Institute. Wendy is Executive Producing and Story Editing the feature comedy Outrunnners directed by Ken Hegan, and has teamed up with AMI to Executive Produce and Write The Keisha Braun Story: Project Access.

Marco Bossow is an award-winning cinematographer and director based in Vancouver. His passion for Science Fiction and its larger-than-life stories drove him to take up a place behind the camera after a lengthy stint as an editor and camera assistant honing his craft in Canada's film industry. He's a full member of ICG 669, an associate member of the CSC and holds dual citizenship between Canada and Germany.

Andy is an ICG 669 member,  CSC-Associate Cinematographer and award-winning director.  Through his vast experience on top quality Vancouver film and television sets, Andy has developed a keen eye behind the lens, giving him the experience and capabilities to create stunning images and thought-provoking stories.
